What types of recipe photos work best?
Clear, well-lit photos of printed text work best. Handwriting works too, though results depend on how legible it is. Avoid shadows and extreme angles.
Can I photograph multiple pages?
Yes. Upload up to 10 photos at once and Capseta will merge them into a single recipe. Take photos in order.
Does it work with handwritten recipes?
Yes, though accuracy depends on handwriting legibility. Clean, consistent handwriting works well. Very cursive or faded text may need manual corrections.
What image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, and GIF. Maximum file size is 10MB per image.
Is recipe photo import free?
Yes, during the public beta.
What if the AI misreads something?
